Bottom Line

We love the NEMO Moonlander Dual Height Table for its versatility and unique design. When the poles are removed, it sits at four inches and provides a solid top for a low picnic blanket setup.

At its highest height, it is also highly stable—we tested it on uneven rock at picnic level, and our beverages stayed secure without any movement.

When packed in its sleek and slim case, this table is about as big and weighs about as much as a laptop. The Moonlander is as durable as an outdoor dining table. Although the price is a bit high, it is built to last forever, and if it doesn’t, NEMO offers a lifetime warranty.

Stability & Durability

The NEMO Moonlander Dual Height Table feels as stable as a solid wood dining table and is just as durable. The aluminum poles resemble tent poles, twisting and locking into place and sticking to the ground regardless of the terrain.

We removed the poles and had a picnic with it, and at its lowest height, it can sit on uneven rocks to keep our charcuterie out of the dirt. The heat-stabilized nylon top is highly durable and doesn’t scratch easily. There’s no doubt this table will last many years.

Surface Area & Weight Capacity

The NEMO Moonlander Dual-Height Table is a good size for a solo meal or as a useful side table. Its weight capacity is 100 pounds, and while we didn’t need to load it to that limit, we trust it can handle it.

We used every inch of its space, and it held several beverages, electronics, or a meal setup for one.

Portability

The NEMO Moonlander Dual Height Table fits into a sleeve the size of a laptop and weighs about five pounds.

It has a handle for convenience and can be stored in the laptop sleeve of a backpack. It’s hard to imagine portability getting any easier.

Height

With the legs locked in, the NEMO Moonlander Dual-Height Table is 16 inches tall and functions well as a side table while sitting in low chairs.

Without the legs, it is four inches tall and suitable for a picnic or as a laptop table.
