GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station Review

Bottom Line
The GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station is an ideal companion for those who want some of the comforts of home while cooking at camp. The countertop provides ample space for a two-burner stove, food preparation area, and condiments.
It features several racks for holding dishes and extra supplies. We loved the sink, which eliminated the need for a few extra supplies we would normally bring.
Bonus amenities include a telescoping lantern pole, cupholders, and a paper towel holder.
Even when all shelves are full, this table remains stable and reliable. Lastly, we were impressed by how easy it is to set up in one piece. You won’t be disappointed when using this to cook your next meal in the woods.

How We Tested
We spent a winter season camping in the Rocky Mountains, enduring wind, snow, and freezing temperatures. This tested the table’s durability in harsh weather and on rocky, unstable terrain.

Stability & Durability
We found that the GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station remained stable on uneven ground even when fully loaded. We needed to be careful when turning the stove on or off because we observed some movement of the table when pushing in the knobs.
Although we read that the table’s surfaces warped in the rain, we experienced some moisture while camping in the snow, and the table held up without warping.

Surface Area & Weight Capacity
The GCI Master Cook Station’s main feature is probably its surface area. With 56 inches of depth, it provides enough space for anything you want to bring from your kitchen.
Multiple shelves below the countertop offer extra storage.
The weight capacity is less than 48 pounds, and we never approached that limit when only using this table for kitchen items.

Portability
The GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station, despite being a large table with numerous features, weighs only 22 pounds, making it highly portable.
Moving it from the car to the campsite was easy because it folds in half and has a carry handle. Although it doesn’t come with a bag, which we would have liked, it stays securely packed with a tether.

Height
At 32 inches, the GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station is an ergonomic height for most people. Those of us who tested the table ranged in height from 5’4″ to 6′, and everyone was satisfied with standing over this table for long periods.

Ease of Setup
The GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station is easy to set up. It unfolds in one move, and it only takes a few seconds to pull out the extra shelving.
Add a little more time to connect the hose to the sink.

Should You Buy the GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station?
If cooking is a key part of your camping experience or you camp with several people to feed, the GCI Outdoor Master Cook Station is an excellent choice.
Its easy setup and compact profile when packed make it a great bonus, considering how many features and storage space this table has. It helps you keep everything from your home kitchen organized, which we truly value.
