How We Tested

Over the winter, we used this table for car camping, storing gear, eating meals with four or more people, and as a cooking station. It held up well against snow, rain, and sand.

The Portal Outdoors Quick Adjust Roll-Up Table Camping Table remained steady in snow, sand, gravel, or uneven, hilly ground. The adjustable legs proved extremely helpful in the Colorado Rockies, where we camped on rocky, unstable terrain multiple times.

We worried that the plastic snaps used to close the legs might not last a season, but they did, and they even held up in below-freezing temperatures. The aluminum surface may scratch, but that does not impact its durability.

Additionally, a mesh shelf underneath the table provides storage for gloves, a speaker, a book, or anything else you want nearby but don’t want to take up table space.

Its weight capacity is 60 pounds, which we found more than sufficient to hold most of what you would typically use in an outdoor setting.
