OffroadAdmin At least four people have been shot, one fatally, in the vicinity of the food court and Dillard’s at Cielo Vista Mall in East El Paso, Texas.
“We have one person in custody. We do believe there could be one outstanding. That’s why the extensive search of the mall is being done right now,” said Sgt. Robert Gomez of the El Paso Police Department. “It was chaotic. People did flee. They were scared,” said Gomez.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday when gunfire erupted in the food court at the Cielo Vista Mall. Police did not comment on a possible motive, but witnesses are claiming it was gang related.
